Movement is key. How you move is up to you. It could be dancing, running, swimming, or even cycling. Each one offers many benefits and actually, a lot of the same benefits. But like Albert Einstein says in the quote above: you must keep moving. Choosing a way to move is one thing. Doing it and staying consistent is another.


Today, we're going to take a peek at the Benefits of Cycling 🚴

And just in time to join our Spin Your Way Through Summer challenge!!

Do you already love cycling? Or are you looking for a motivation to get you started? Maybe your physiotherapist told you to do this for your knees? Whatever the reason, just get on the bike, outdoors or here at the gym, and get cycling!


On Friday, June 19th, I will be posting up on the wall everything needed to participate in the race. Race at your pace! Here's the info:


Spin Your Way Through Summer Challenge!


This is a friendly competition between Fitstop members who love to bike! INDOORS OR OUTDOORS!!


The rules are simple:

  1. Take a laminated cyclist card

  2. Write your name on it

  3. Use tape provided to mark your distance cycled that day (inside or outside) with your cyclist card

  4. If you reach the end of the path first, please mark #1 on your name card!  You will win a little prize.  


This challenge will go from June 21st (1st day of Summer) to August 31st.  This will give plenty of time to reach the end of the path.  If you finish before the end date, congrats!  Keep going!  All finishers will be recognized with a  SUMMER CYCLING CERTIFICATE from FitStop.  So, don’t forget to write your name on the card (First and last).

There have been some issues with the waitlist on EZ facility, but they are being looked into by EZ themselves. If you have any problems at all with the sign ups, please let me know.
