Welcome back to the blog!

I've been away for a few days in NYC and

I look forward to being back in the office on Monday.

My daughter and took a couple of days to getaway and be tourists in the Big Apple šŸŽ. We walked a lot and it got me thinking about something I read:

That's exciting isn't it? 😊

Walking is so good for your physical and mental health. It allows you to live a wonderful life. Remember that life you just gained back?

If you are nervous about walking outside in this winter season, try the treadmills, elliptical, or walking track!!

But what should you do to prepare your body for adding more steps to your day?

  1. Sneakers. Make sure you have comfortable sneakers that fit properly. They should have good traction and, if you're in the gym, please keep them clean!

  2. Stretch! Stretch your ankles, calves, hamstrings, hip flexors, quads, waist, and back.

  3. Music/podcast. Or a friend. Find something that will keep you motivated in your movement.

  4. Water. Stay hydrated.

Happy Walking.

PSA From the Gym:

I have been noticing a lot more banging and clanging of weights lately, and I've spoken to some to take it easy, but I just wanted to put this out there again. Do not let weights drop or bang please and thank you! If it happens by accident, that's one thing, bit if it happens again, have some control.

Thank you all.

Have a great week!

Tracy
